We really enjoyed our two night stay at John’s house, wish we had more time to stay longer. It was still covered in snow and was so private, peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. We loved exploring the woods on the property. Beautiful 360 degree views of the surrounding lake and woods. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. John was responsive and helpful and I appreciated the attention to detail. Love the horse too :)

My kids are frequent travelers, but I've never used airbnb before, so I had no idea what to expect. This listing absolutely blew me away! The property itself was gorgeous, inside and out; the rooms were clean and comfortable (nice and toasty in the winter!), the kitchen well-stocked so that we had no problem cooking; the hosts were also very responsive and accommodating, which made our late-minute stay go all the more smoothly! All in all, it was an amazing experience, and I definitely look forward to similar ones in the future!

We stayed at Shiv's place for a long weekend. It's a beautiful cabin right by the lake and we enjoyed the space and the surroundings. The cabin is beautiful and clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Shiv was very responsive during our stay. We were traveling with our toddler, so we particularly appreciated that a crib, crib mattress, high chair and baby gate were provided as part of the accommodation.

We stayed at Shiv's property for a weekend while we were in town for a family member's wedding. The place would be challenging to find in the dark if it weren't for the very detailed directions provided prior to our checkin. I was very appreciative of how proactive Shiv and John were at giving us the directions to eliminate confusion. Being that it is difficult to find, it tells you exactly how private and remote it was. Very peaceful. The space itself was roomy but laid out in a way that you still felt together when on the main floor. It was clean, just had a few spiders to kill here and there..but that comes with the territory of this property being secluded and surrounded by nature and wildlife. The main level being all glass doors really allowed you to appreciate the view. We quite enjoyed our stay and can see how this is a gem of a spot all four seasons of the year. Being that we were there in December, we really appreciated the access to firewood for the fireplace. Pleasant stay!

This was the rustic out of the way place we were looking for. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy family. We took long walks and talked to the resident horse. It’s a shame it was winter because if it was summer, we would’ve absolutely loved to play tennis and do more outside. We were there for a wedding, but came two days prior. This would be an excellent venue if you had lots of family, as there are other cabins on the same property. From beginning to end, we absolutely loved our time here. Sidenote: I myself. (Amy) have a difficult time sleeping “thank you menopause” and I slept like a baby in the bedroom with the ensuite. Having wood for the fireplace made being there in the winter a dream. We would absolutely love to come back.

We hosted my and my fianceé’s families for a small engagement party here and it was lovely! The location was great: private, overlooking the water, and open floor plan for all of us to hang out. The hosts were responsive and super helpful as it began to snow overnight and the driveways needed to be cleared. 10/10 place! I would definitely come back (in the summer next time 😊)

Comfortable stay with a very private setting, which made it the perfect spot for a peaceful weekend with my dog! The host was super proactive and communicated consistently to make sure all of my needs were met. The airbnb itself is spacious and the open setting made it comfortable and relaxing. There is a lot of space surrounding the cabin for walks and exploring.

We love this place! The views overlooking the lake are beautiful. We love the peaceful quiet location. The house is neat and exceptionally clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Shiv was proactive with directions and instructions. He also reached out several times to check in during our stay, which we appreciated. This is a GREAT AirBnB! We look forward to coming back soon!

Loved our stay ! Beautiful cozy cabin next to the lake was awesome for our kids & dogs. The horse on the property was a huge plus since we are animal lovers, and we also saw a momma bear and her cubs on the property! We were in the area for a family wedding and I am so happy we chose to stay here! Shiv was the most kind, accommodating & caring air bnb host I have encountered in the last few years!
